After the wait, Apple TV+ launched. The service was officially launched today November, 1st 2019. And per the announcements made by Apple, it is offering a 1-year free trial. The launching of Apple’s streaming service will be effective in more than 100 countries.
The service is an all-new streaming service from Apple. Watch original shows and films, ad-free and on-demand, in 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos sound.
As for the 1-year free trial, it is available for those who bought an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or MacBook from September 10 onward. And according to information from Apple, you have three months after first setting up your device to take advantage of your free year of Apple TV+. But Apple says the offer is only available for the next three months.

The Apple TV+ service will cost $4.99 per month, with a seven-day free trial available to everyone. The service will be available on the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch, macOS. You can as well watch on Samsung Smart TVs, Roku streaming players, and Amazon Fire TV devices, including online at https://tv.apple.com
Apple TV+ will offer a lineup of original shows, movies and documentaries, including The Morning Show, See, Dickinson, For All Mankind and The Elephant Queen.
Apple TV+ launched: How to claim your 1-year trial
With the service debuting today, if you want to claim your free 1-year trial, proceed as follows;
- Turn on your new Apple device and sign in with your Apple ID.
- Open the Apple TV app. Make sure your device is running the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, or macOS.
- The offer should be presented immediately after launching the app. If not, go to the Apple TV+ channel page where you’ll see the offer.
- Tap Enjoy 1 Year Free.
It should be noted that this free 1-year offer is only available for bought an iDevice from Apple or an Apple-authorized reseller after September 10th 2019.
