From our personal experience, although the Samsung Internet browser is a default browser for Samsung devices, it works pretty well and smoothly on other Androids.

We have used it for a while now and find it better than all the other browsers for Android listed above. Below are our reasons;

  • The dark mode that applies to all web pages even for sites without dark theme support
  • Ad-blocking feature
  • Fast
  • Possibility to sync with Google Chrome desktop
  • Samsung Internet supports picture-in-picture (PIP) video, which means the video that is played in this web browser can be pop-out and visible on the Android screen even if the browser is minimised.
  • Supports notifications from popular social networking sites like Facebook
  • Comes with a very clean UI
  • Support for extensions
  • Can be installed on any Android 5.0+
  • Do not track feature

What we have above is just a hand pick. And when you take a closer lock you will see there is nearly everything Chrome, for example, has and more. It has its own cons too though, but we find it to be the best.
