In today post, we will tell you about new must-watch anime like Sword Art Online worth watching this 2020. The anime we have selected are all new and share a common feature in that it takes place inside an MMORPG.

And as you all know, Sword Art Online is an engaging anime series where thousands of players get trapped in an online role-playing game. And in this virtual world, death means death in the real world. Concerning the anime we have below, not all share the aspect of the players being trapped in the game world, but as we said earlier, it is all about an MMORPG.

In Japanese “Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu” is an MMORPG just like sword art online(SAO) but different in that the gamers aren’t trapped in-game.

This Japanese light novel series is written by Yuumikan and illustrated by Koin. It began serialization online in 2016 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. And now the anime is ongoing and really captivating and fun watching. If you did love SAO, then this anime series should also be fun to you.

The story centres around Kaede Honjou, who is invited by her friend Risa Shiramine to play a virtual reality MMO game with her. While Kaede doesn’t dislike games, what she really, truly dislikes is being in pain. She creates a character named Maple and decides to put all her points in VIT to minimize pain. As a result, she moves slowly, can’t use magic, and even a rabbit can get the best of her. However, as it turns out, she acquires a skill known as “Absolute Defense” as a result of her pumping points into VIT, as well as a “Counter Skill” that works against special moves. Now, with her ability to nullify all damage, she goes on adventures.

3. Infinite Dendrogram

Infinite Dendrogram is a Japanese light novel series written by Sakon Kaidō and illustrated by Taiki. It began serialization online in 2015 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. An anime television series adaptation by NAZ for this light novel started airing this year January 9, 2020
