Best Crypto Credit Card Providers in 2023
Best Prepaid Crypto Credit Card Providers in 2023. Looking for a good crypto credit card to use for your crypto transactions online? As the crypto ecosystem keeps growing exponentially, we have come to experience the birth of crypto debit cards. These cards just like normal or regular credit cards allow you to spend money from an account by swiping your card. The big difference is that instead of this card linking to your bank account, it connects to one of your crypto wallets.
What is a crypto card?
A crypto card is a credit or debit card that allows you to spend your cryptocurrency as well as earn cryptocurrency rewards. Instead of paying in fiat currency, you pay your expenses in the crypto you assigned to the card. Crypto credit cards work exactly the same as any other rewards credit card on the market, most crypto cards are either a Visa card or a Mastercard.
A crypto card should not be confused with a crypto reward card, a crypto reward card essentially rewards you with a certain amount of cryptocurrency for a certain amount of money spent. Undoubtedly, cryptocurrencies are here to stay, but are they the way of the future?
Best Crypto Credit Card Providers in 2023
01 – Crypto.com Visa Card
The Crypto.com Visa Card is a prepaid card. Broadly speaking, prepaid cards are the same as debit cards. The difference is that debit cards are linked to your bank account, but prepaid cards need to be topped up. In our case, you can top up using bank account transfers, other credit/debit cards, or cryptocurrency.
To apply for one, you need to stake CRO tokens for a period of 180 days to apply for a Crypto.com Visa Card. To do so, first sign up for a Crypto.com App account and complete our KYC verification. Next, purchase CRO tokens and deposit them into your Crypto Wallet in the App. If you buy CRO directly in the App, then no action is required. The amount of CRO depends on the card tier you’re applying for. Finally, go to the ‘Card’ tab in the App, select your desired Crypto.com Visa Card, tap the ‘Stake CRO’ button, and follow the on-screen instructions. Now, all you need to do is wait for us to notify you when your card has shipped!
All card rewards are paid in CRO and deposited into your Crypto Wallet in the Crypto.com App. CRO Rewards are instantly reflected with each eligible transaction. Purchase rebates are reimbursed to the USD equivalent, and the rebate cap is reset on the first day of each month.
You can top up your card using your Fiat Wallet, Crypto Wallet, or credit/debit card in the Crypto.com App. Go to the ‘Card’ tab, tap ‘Top Up’, and select your preferred method.
