Fix, unfortunately, “com.android.systemui has stopped” by uninstalling Google App update

As we said earlier, updating the Google App may result in this error. So, before trying other methods, you should give this a try. In this case, you will need to also deactivate Google Play auto-updates.

To deactivate auto-updates, proceed as follows;

  1. Launch the Google Play Store app from your device home screen.
  2. When it opens, go to “Settings”
  3. Locate the “auto-update App” option and turn it off.

After turning off auto-update from the Google Play Store, proceed to uninstall Google App Update.

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Apps.
  3. Locate the Google App and tap on it.

Wipe device cache partition

  • Use Vol+ and power keys

Fix unfortunately ” com.android.systemui has stopped ” by unrooting device

If you started getting this system error message after rooting your device, then you can quickly fix it by unrooting it. To unroot your Android, you can either make use of:

  1. SuperSU App: To unroot with the SuperSU app, launch the app and head to settings. In the settings tab, tap “full unroot.” After this, you just have to follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
  2. If it was rooted with Magisk, then simply open Magisk Manager apps and tap on “Uninstall”. Then you will get a prompt with the options; completely uninstall, restore stock, cancel. You will need to be connected to the internet and choose “completely uninstall.
  3. If you rooted using a one-click root app like kingoroot, you should equally see the option to unroot from the app’s settings.

Factory reset your device

By performing a factory reset, one can fix some system-related problems. The system user interface crash error can as well be fixed this way. To factory reset your Android, proceed thus;

  • Go to settings
  • Backup & reset
