For the anime fans who loved so much Black Clover, something new is brewing! Very soon we will get to see Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King. This is an upcoming Japanese animated film directed by Ayataka Tanemura and produced by Pierrot. Based on the Black Clover manga series by Yūki Tabata, the film is set to be released in Japanese theatres and on Netflix internationally on June 16, 2024.
The film follows Asta and Yuno, two young boys who dream of becoming the Wizard King, the most powerful mage in the Clover Kingdom. However, Asta is born without any magic, while Yuno is a prodigy with a powerful four-leaf grimoire. Despite their differences, the two friends work together to achieve their goals.
The film’s story will be set after the events of the anime series and will feature a new threat to the Clover Kingdom. Asta and Yuno will need to use all of their strength and teamwork to defeat this new enemy and protect their home.
