About the Dr. STONE Anime

Dr. STONE is a Japanese manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. The series follows the story of a high school student named Taiju Oki, who is suddenly petrified along with the rest of humanity for thousands of years. When he finally breaks free from the petrification, he discovers that the world has completely changed and that he is now living in a primitive society. Together with his friend Senku Ishigami, they set out to rebuild civilization and restore the world to its former glory using their knowledge of science.

The manga was first serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump in March 2017, and it has since been adapted into an anime television series, which aired from July to December 2019. The series has gained a significant following for its unique premise, well-developed characters, and emphasis on science and technology.
