Redmi 12 Nears Official Launch with Leaked Renders and Specifications
The highly anticipated Redmi 12 smartphone is gearing up for its official launch, according to recent reports. Last week, Xiaomi Portugal’s website unintentionally unveiled the unannounced device, disclosing its key specifications, pricing, and three colour variants. Adding to the excitement, Winfuture.de has now released leaked official renders of the Redmi 12, offering an intricate glimpse into its design.
The Redmi 12, as depicted in the publication’s renders, will be available in three striking colours: black, white, and blue. On the front, the device boasts a punch-hole display, while the back houses a triple camera setup.
Interestingly, the camera arrangement on the rear of the Redmi 12 bears similarities to that of the renowned iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 series. Additionally, the right edge of the device features a volume rocker and a power button, cleverly integrated with a fingerprint sensor.
According to the report, the Redmi 12 is expected to make its debut in July, accompanied by a price tag of approximately 199 euros. As for its specifications, the device will sport a 6.8-inch LCD FHD+ 90Hz display, powered by the Helio G88 chipset. It is anticipated to come with 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a formidable 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging capabilities. On the front, users can expect an 8-megapixel camera for capturing stunning selfies, while the rear camera setup will consist of a 50-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro/depth sensor.
Moreover, the Redmi 12 will be equipped with a range of other notable features, including dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, an IR blaster, a microSD card slot, NFC functionality, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
