WhatsApp beta 2.23.9.5 update for Android is out and can be installed via the Google Play Beta Program ↗. According to information from the beta update changelog, it is rather a bug fix update that addresses the Splash screen bug.
As per reports from Wabetainfo ↗, WhatsApp was developing a revamped keyboard with the aim of providing a superior user experience. This feature was slated for release in a future update and was tested in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.9.2. Regrettably, this update is no longer compatible with Android versions preceding 5.0. Moreover, the update encountered an issue with the splash screen, which appears to have affected a significant number of users.
As you can see from the screenshot above prior to the update, one can see that the logo appeared larger than usual. Although some users may have suspected it to be a new WhatsApp logo, it was simply a bug, and the cause behind the altered logo size remains unknown.
To address this bug, users should update their WhatsApp beta for Android to version 2.23.9.5, available on the Google Play Store. This latest update is expected to resolve the issue, allowing users to utilize a bug-free version of WhatsApp.
