The launch of OPPO Reno 10 Pro Plus is expected to feature upgrades in its display, camera, and charging capabilities

It is expected that the OPPO Reno 10 Pro Plus will be introduced to the market as a mid-range Android device, featuring high-end rear cameras. The camera setup is speculated to include a new telephoto lens that is optimized for low-light photography. Additionally, the device may have an upgraded display resolution compared to its predecessor, as well as faster charging capabilities. However, there is a potential drawback to the faster charging technology.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus Key Features & Specifications

The upcoming OPPO Reno10 Pro Plus (or Pro+) is expected to outperform its Honor counterpart in the mid-tier smartphone market upon its possible launch in mid-2024. Prominent leaker Digital Chat Station has shared additional information on how this might be achieved.

According to the leak, the Reno10 Pro Plus successor will feature a 6.74-inch 1.5K display, which may offer an improvement over the FHD+ panel of its predecessor. However, it remains unclear whether the display will be OLED or if the device will switch to a flat screen.

The device is also expected to come with upgraded 100W charging technology, using the same 4,700mAh battery as the 2022 model. The rear camera setup might be the same as the higher-end Find X6, featuring an OIS-enhanced Sony IMX890 sensor and the Reno-series’ first periscope lens optimized for low-light photography. The cameras, along with an additional one for a triple-camera setup, might be controlled by OPPO’s MariSilicon X co-processor.

However, the main drawback of the Reno10 Pro Plus is that it is expected to launch with the same main SoC as its predecessor. While the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is still a powerful chipset, this may make some Reno9 Pro+ users reluctant to upgrade or regret not waiting for the 10-series replacement.
