The official Poco Twitter account recently revealed the roster of Poco smartphones set to receive the MIUI 14 update during the second quarter of this year. The update is slated for release between April and June 2023. While a total of 10 Poco smartphone models will receive the update, the company has not yet specified the order in which each model will receive it.

It is speculated that the first devices to receive the MIUI 14 update will be the Poco F4 GT, F4, and F3. However, some users have expressed dissatisfaction with their current update, which lacks the features of MIUI 14 and is based on Android 12. One user even shared a screenshot from their Poco X5 Pro in response to the announcement.

MIUI 14 was originally unveiled in China in December 2022, with Xiaomi focusing on enhancing efficiency, security, and privacy within the popular user interface. This included a particular emphasis on Project Razor, which aimed to maximize the use of hardware resources such as RAM and storage, while also reducing cloud usage in favor of locally processed processes to improve overall system privacy and security.

MIUI 14 update rollout to Poco smartphones

The ten Poco smartphones that will receive the MIUI 14 update are the Poco F4 GT, F4, F3, X3 Pro, M5, M4 5G, X4 GT, X3 GT, F2 Pro, and M3 (NFC version). This is excellent news for Poco users, as the update will bring a host of new features and enhancements to their overall smartphone experience. We eagerly anticipate the rollout of these updates over the next few months and hope they will be well-received by Poco users.
