The Great Cleric Anime adaptation is to release in July 2024

The Great Cleric is a Japanese light novel series written by Broccoli Lion and illustrated by Sime. It was originally published online on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2015 and was later acquired by Micro Magazine for print publication. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Hiiro Akikaze, began serialization in the Niconico-based web manga magazine Suiyōbi no Sirius in 2017. An anime television series adaptation by Yokohama Animation Laboratory and Cloud Hearts is scheduled to premiere in July 2024.

The story follows Luciel, a former salaryman who is reincarnated in another world as a fifteen-year-old healer. In this world, healers are often looked down upon and treated as inferior. Luciel is determined to prove that healers can be just as strong and capable as any other class, and he sets out on a journey to become the greatest cleric in the world.
