Google AdSense To Retire Link Ads

Google AdSense To Retire Link Ads: With the feedback, Google has gotten from publishers and advertisers, Google Adsense is to retire link Ads. As per Google, this is in order to modernise their available ad formats.

Google says they will work to develop new Ad formats that will help publishers and advertisers even more.

It is true that many publishers have always preferred the link ad units for it could easily persuade someone to click on them. But the truth is from our experience, link ads generate a lesser revenue share even from the large numbers of impressions and clicks as compared to other ad formats.

And alos, the majority of invalid clicks are mos likely from the link ad units.

So, removing or retiring the link ad format could probably be one to the steps Google is taking to fight invalid clicks.
