Samsung to Unveil Next-Generation Foldable Devices in Seoul, South Korea

Samsung Electronics has confirmed that it will hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event in Seoul, South Korea, on July 26. The event will be held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam, and will showcase the company’s next-generation foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5.

This will be the first time that Samsung has held a Galaxy Unpacked event in Seoul. In the past, the company has held the event in cities such as Barcelona, Berlin, London, and New York. However, Samsung says that it is shifting its focus to “trend-leading cultural cities” for its foldable device events.

“Seoul was selected because of its role in influencing global trends with its dynamic culture and innovation,” said Samsung. “It also reflects Samsung’s strong confidence in the foldable category.”

In addition to the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5, Samsung is also expected to unveil new smartwatches and earbuds at the event. The company is also rumoured to be working on a new foldable tablet, but it is unclear if that device will be announced at the July 26 event.
